Being a founder is less about perfect schedules and more about managing energy, priorities, and constant decision-making every single day.

The accountability group idea is the one that stuck with me most.

As a solo founder there's nobody to answer to but yourself, and honestly that freedom is also the trap. I've noticed I'm most productive when there's even a small external commitment — a deadline, a promise, anything with a witness.

I've been thinking about finding or building something like this for a while but never prioritised it. Reading this made me realise I've been treating it as optional when it might actually be foundational for how solo founders stay sane and consistent.

Does anyone have experience joining one of these groups remotely? Curious how you found the right fit and what made it actually work vs just becoming another thing that fades out after a few weeks.

The point I relate to the most is creating a routine and doing my best to stick to it. More often that not, I find my mind wandering off to the pending list of tasks which are equally important, but I'm not supposed to do today. In these cases sticking to a routine helps.

Obviously this presumes I need to be making good routines in the first place. That is why I set time aside every night to plan my next day.

I do the same thing. This is particularly difficult when one has multiple projects. It can be a time-sink to get to work because they all feel equally important and urgent.

Inspiring! I am not a founder myself, but aiming there! Thanks for sharing!

i just built something already. launched it, I've been promoting it like crazy. X, facebook, whatsapp, instagram, got kicked off linkd in, youtube and tik tik. i have 9 sign ups but no sales. i know itll take off, but whew. it took me 3 days to have the idea, build the system and launch, now its day 4 after launch. my facebook ads have been going crazy because im open to my model being a global opportunity. ive had over 3000 clicks on my site, i have a slow building on the socials. ooh, got kicked out of reddit too lol. apparently i wasnt promoting my model correctly.

This is a great article on how to organize your day as a founder! I found the following tips to be particularly useful:

    • Build a routine. Having a set routine can help you stay focused and productive. This doesn't mean that you have to be rigid, but it's helpful to have a general idea of what you want to accomplish each day.

    • Set aside time for different tasks. Don't try to do everything at once. Block out time in your calendar for different tasks, such as email, meetings, and focused work.

    • Be accountable to yourself. It's important to set realistic goals for yourself and to track your progress. There are a number of tools and resources available to help you with this, such as time trackers and to-do lists.

    • Create a productive workspace. Your workspace should be a place where you can focus and get things done. Make sure it's organized and free of clutter.

I also really liked the article's emphasis on the importance of taking breaks. It's important to step away from your work from time to time to relax and recharge.

Overall, this is a great resource for any founder who is looking for tips on how to be more productive.
