We’re testing a fixed offer at TrixellaIQ: a Competitive Intelligence Brief for €79, delivered in 48 hours after payment + intake. Scope is public: ~5 direct competitors, visible offers/pricing/messaging, evidence-backed findings, and 3 priority actions. There’s a sample on the site so buyers can see the shape before paying.
Facts up front: 0 paid briefs so far. This is not a client case study.
SIGNAL
What we keep hearing (and what we keep doing ourselves) is that “research” and “AI-powered analysis” land as abstract. People ask how the work looks, what decision it supports, and what is not included.
GAP
Abstract research is hard to buy because the buyer can’t picture the deliverable or the decision. Soft proof (“we use AI to accelerate research”) doesn’t close that gap. A visible sample and a fixed scope do more work than a longer feature list.
A second gap: early conversations can look like demand when they’re really peer networking. Method questions and “send me your email” are useful signal for messaging — they are not the same as a paid brief request.
ACTION
What we’re testing next in public:
Same framework we use in public mini teardowns: SIGNAL → GAP → ACTION.
If you’re packaging a research product: does your landing show a real page of the deliverable, or only adjectives?
