Traversing the Mac || PC Landscape

I've professionally worked on Windows PC since DOS and have had a Mac Book Pro personal daily driver since 2010. Typically, I clock many more hours in the PC world, so I am more proficient at Windows. My primary problem with this scenario has always been the subtle keyboard differences.

Moving back and forth between devices is not as bad as running Windows in Parallels or via a remote desktop client. I am at a point where I'd like to cut over to Mac as my primary interface, and will still need to interact with Windows in the foreseeable future.

Are you experiencing anything like this? If so, how do you remedy it? Ideally, a solution on the client machine; I remote into PCs I cannot reconfigure for my needs.
