SEEKING a vibe coding, workflow redesigning human.

Along with being a multi-time startup founder (1 exit) I own an consulting firm based in BC, Canada. Our ICP are SMB legacy companies eager to accelerate AI adoption throughout their organization. I'm looking for a young, scrappy vibe coder who has an affinity towards redesigning workflows. Fluency with ChatGPT, Claude and yes (ugh) Copilot is required, confidence with connectors, MCP etc is obvious. For this aspect of our business, we offer our clients basics from learning prompts and skills, to redesigning workflows with an AI first lens, both within their current tech stack or outside. Happy to hire for a side gig to start and I expect compensation to be in the $100 USD/hr range to start.

The struggle is the tuition. What lessons have been worth the grind for you?

No longer young but think I'm still scrappy. I think AI wrappers without a moat are not sustainable long term. My moat is an AI agentic harness that integrates tightly with Apple Mac productivity. It was also designed from the ground up with tight security in mind. The Apple Mac user has to give explicit permissions to let the AI LLM gain access to Reminders, Notes, Calendar, Contacts etc. and it is guarded with code, not prompts. I wanted an OpenClaw but with tight security. It also was designed to work with local AI for those companies that want to keep their data and IP private. If you have any clients that are Apple Mac based and you want to provide a better AI-to-Apple experience, please reach out and I can give you more detail.

    Hey Rocky,

Your post hits exactly what I do. I’m a developer who specializes in wrapping AI intelligence around existing business systems without ripping out their current tech stack.

While the market is full of people who just write prompts, I build actual automation pipelines and agentic tools. Most recently, I’ve been building an AI-driven WhatsApp operating system designed to streamline commerce workflows for small businesses—handling the exact type of friction your SMB clients face.

I’m fluent with Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot, and highly confident configuring custom APIs, connectors, and MCP to make tools talk to each other. I understand that for legacy companies, the goal isn't theoretical AI; it's operational speed and reduced manual work.

I’m based in Nigeria (WAT), highly efficient with async execution, and open to starting with a small, paid trial task so you can evaluate my output firsthand.

Let me know if you have 10 minutes to discuss a current client workflow you're trying to redesign.

    Best,
    Joshua

    Hi Rocky,

I came across your post about seeking a scrappy vibe coder for AI-driven workflow redesign, and I’m very interested. With hands-on experience in AI integration, prompt engineering, and workflow automation, I specialize in helping organizations rethink processes with an AI-first lens—both within existing tech stacks and through innovative new approaches.

I’m fluent with ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, and have confidence with connectors, APIs, and automation frameworks like MCP. I thrive in environments where I can combine technical execution with creative problem-solving to deliver tangible business impact.

You can see some of my past work here: https://topstar-ai.github.io

I’d love the chance to contribute on a side gig basis and explore how we can accelerate AI adoption for your SMB clients. I’m available to connect via:

Hey Rocky — your post stood out immediately.

I'm a backend/AI engineer who's been building agentic systems and workflow automation tools for the past year. My recent work includes a multi-agent legal AI platform (CrewAI + RAG pipelines + hybrid retrieval), and an AI automation assistant I built to handle real business process flows — both of which involved exactly the kind of "wrap intelligence around existing systems" approach you described.

I work daily with Claude, ChatGPT, MCP, connectors, and custom API chains. I'm not just prompt-engineering — I actually build the backend systems that make those tools reliable inside messy legacy environments.

I'd be happy to start with a small paid trial task so you can see how I work before any commitment. What kind of client workflow are you currently trying to redesign?

I’m a strong fit for this role because I combine hands-on AI tooling experience with a practical focus on improving workflows and solving operational problems. I’m comfortable working with tools like OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and Microsoft Copilot to streamline repetitive tasks, redesign processes, and build AI-assisted systems that are actually useful in day-to-day business operations. I’ve worked on projects involving AI automation, prompt systems, workflow optimization, and integrating tools to improve productivity and reduce manual work. I learn quickly, adapt fast, and enjoy experimenting with new AI workflows and integrations to create practical business value rather than just theoretical ideas.

$100/hr for someone who can wrangle AI tools, connectors, and messy business processes honestly doesn't sound crazy anymore. The hard part is finding somebody who can talk to humans and machines without breaking both.

  10. 1

Hey. I think I might be a good fit. I've built couple of useful tools and even redesigned many of the Old tools I hired developers to build for me years ago. I have experience in DevOps and I think I'm pretty good with Coding with AI.

Interested. I have 4+ years of experience in data science, data engineering and ML/AI engineering, and actually have been working with a curated fashion e-commerce company to help implement AI and automation into their workflows for the past two months. I also currently work as an AI specialist at a startup aiming to solve medical claim denials through AI and ML. I'd really like to chat more about this opportunity to see how I can contribute. Thanks, Abhiraj.

Hi Rocky, your post really resonated with me. I'm a US-based Senior Full Stack & AI Engineer with 7+ years of experience building AI-powered applications, workflow automations, custom integrations, AI agents, and MCP-based systems. I work extensively with ChatGPT, Claude, APIs, and modern automation tools to redesign business processes with an AI-first approach. I'd love to learn more about your consulting practice and explore how I could contribute. Thanks, Walter.

Interested. I’m an experienced full-stack dev and AI systems builder who likes turning messy SMB workflows into practical AI-first systems. I work with ChatGPT, Claude/Codex/Cursor-style dev flows, connectors, automations, APIs, and custom tools. Strong fit for building working systems, not just strategy docs.

u can talk to me, I am building my own vibecoding platform called https://99xdev.com

Hey, this absolutely resonates to me. I've been doing exactly this kind of work for US and EU clients.
Most recently layered a multi-agent inventory and supplier reorder system onto an existing pharmacy platform using OpenAI Agents SDK. The client's stack was untouched. We just wrapped intelligence around it. Before that, built a HIPAA-compliant clinical trials platform from scratch for a US pharma client where the biggest challenge wasn't the tech, it was convincing a 60-year-old office manager that the AI wasn't going to "break their system."
That translation layer between what AI can do and what an SMB owner can actually trust is where I spend most of my energy.
Fluent across Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, MCP, and agentic tooling. I'm an AI developer and agency founder based in Pakistan, so timezone overlap with BC needs coordination, but async-first has never been a problem for my US and EU clients. I alreayd ahve experience in it.
Would love a short conversation. Happy to do a small paid trial task first so you can see how I work before any commitment.
