Made an awesome-list on GitHub as a growth experiment, curious what the IH take is

I’ve been running growth for this tiny SaaS marketplace for a year now. One thing I kept telling myself I’d try? Dropping an awesome-list on GitHub. Supposedly, if you make a solid curated list in your niche, you get this slow drip of traffic from GitHub search and maybe even a sindresorhus/awesome nod. Plus, other companies start sending you PRs because everyone wants their logo on the cool list.

Ended up with 54 entries: guest post marketplaces, outreach tools, journalist platforms, guides, agencies—the whole buffet. I put it on my personal GitHub, not the company one. Wanted it to feel like an actual human made it, not just another corporate flex.

I’ll check back in 60 days and let you know if this thing actually works or if I just wasted a weekend. Anyone else tried this play? Did it actually move the needle, or just your blood pressure? 😛
