Looking for a Growth Marketing Co-Founder to Build FlexEat 🚀

Hey everyone!

I'm building FlexEat, an AI-powered nutrition app that helps people make better food decisions without forcing them into rigid diets.

The idea is simple: instead of just tracking calories/macros, FlexEat aims to make nutrition more personal, flexible, and actionable.

I'm currently building the product and validating the idea, and I'm looking for a co-founder focused on Growth Marketing / User Acquisition who wants to build this seriously with me.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys:

.Growth Marketing & user acquisition
.Content and social media
.Creator/influencer outreach
.Testing acquisition channels and experiments
.Measuring what works and doubling down on it

I'm not looking for someone who just wants to give occasional advice. I'm looking for someone who wants to take ownership, experiment, learn, and build together.

Right now, I'm focused on getting the first users, collecting feedback, improving retention, and finding a repeatable acquisition channel.

If you're interested in startups, AI, fitness/nutrition, or consumer apps and you're looking for something to build from the ground up, I'd love to hear from you.

Comment below or DM me with a little about yourself, what you've built before, and why FlexEat interests you.

Let's see if we could be a good fit. 🤝

This looks like an interesting space, especially because personalized nutrition products can quickly involve sensitive user information and AI-driven recommendations. As you validate the product and start acquiring users, it may also be worth thinking early about privacy, data handling, consent, AI risk, and the documentation needed as the product scales.

I work with AI and SaaS businesses on compliance gap assessments, privacy and risk documentation, AI governance, and overall compliance/security readiness. Since you're still building and validating FlexEat, I'd be interested to hear how you're currently approaching the data and AI side of the product. 🔐

Thanks for reaching out! 🙌 I appreciate you bringing this up.

Since FlexEat is still in the early validation stage, we’re currently focused on building the product, testing user needs, and being mindful of privacy and responsible AI usage from the beginning.

We’re using AI to support nutrition decisions, so making sure user data is handled properly will definitely become increasingly important as we grow.

I’d be interested to learn more about your experience working with AI/SaaS companies and the common compliance challenges you see in early-stage products. 🚀

      1. 1

Absolutely. For early-stage AI/SaaS products, the most common issue I see is that compliance is often treated as something to address later, but certain decisions made during the product stage can become much harder to fix once the user base and data flows have grown.

With AI products, I usually look at areas such as what data is being collected, where it flows, which third-party AI or service providers are involved, how consent and user transparency are handled, what safeguards exist around AI outputs, and what level of documentation is needed for the business's stage and target market.

For a product like FlexEat, the nutrition and AI element makes it particularly important to clearly define the role of the AI and how user information is handled, especially as you move from validation toward scaling.

I typically support AI and SaaS businesses through compliance gap assessments, privacy and data protection reviews, AI governance and risk documentation, vendor due diligence, and practical readiness recommendations. The goal isn't to burden an early-stage founder with unnecessary bureaucracy, but to identify the areas worth addressing early so the product has a stronger foundation as it grows.

Since you're still validating the product, I'd be interested to learn more about how FlexEat currently uses AI and what type of user information you're planning to collect. That would give me a better sense of the compliance considerations most relevant to your product.

Thank you for sharing this perspective. I completely agree that building the right foundation early is important, especially for an AI product handling personal nutrition information.

At the current stage, FlexEat is focused on validating the product and understanding user needs. We’re being mindful of data minimization, transparency around AI usage, and making sure user information is handled responsibly as we build.

Currently, FlexEat uses AI to provide personalized nutrition guidance based on user inputs and preferences. As we move toward scaling, we’ll definitely need to strengthen areas like privacy documentation, AI governance, and data protection practices.

I’d be interested to learn more about the common compliance considerations you usually see for early-stage AI/SaaS products like this. Thanks again for reaching out! 🙌

          1. 1

You’re actually at a very good stage to start looking at this. For early-stage AI products like FlexEat, I usually recommend beginning with a practical compliance and risk assessment rather than trying to build a full compliance program from day one.

I’d typically review how user and nutrition data flows through the product, how the AI is being used, what third-party AI/API providers are involved, privacy and consent requirements, and the key documentation and safeguards you’ll need as you start acquiring more users.

The main value at this stage is identifying the important gaps before they become expensive problems—especially when you start working with larger partners, expanding into new markets, or preparing for commercial opportunities.

I can also give you a clearer picture of what should be addressed now versus what can wait until you reach the next stage, so you’re investing in the right things at the right time.

If you tell me your initial target market and which AI/API providers FlexEat currently uses, I can give you a quick sense of the areas I’d prioritize. 🔐

If you’re open to it, we can continue the conversation by email at [email protected] and I can walk you through the areas I’d prioritize for FlexEat and the practical next steps. 🔐

            1. 1

Thanks for sharing this perspective! I appreciate you reaching out. I’ll definitely keep these considerations in mind as FlexEat grows. 🙌

              1. 1

Absolutely, happy to help. 🙌 Since FlexEat is still at the validation stage, getting the fundamentals right now can save a lot of unnecessary work later. If you reach the point where you want a more structured review of the privacy, AI governance, and data protection side, feel free to reach out. I’d be glad to take a look at the product and outline the areas worth prioritizing before you scale. 🔐

This sounds like an exciting startup opportunity! FlexEat’s flexible and personalized approach to nutrition could solve a real problem for users who find traditional diet tracking too restrictive. Finding the right Growth Marketing co-founder to experiment with acquisition channels and build a strong user base will be key. Wishing you great success with the journey! 🚀🤝

    1. 1

Thank you! 🙌 I really appreciate your support. I agree that finding the right person to lead growth experiments and build the user acquisition engine will be a key step for FlexEat.

I’m currently looking for someone who is passionate about growth, startups, and building from the early stages. Do you have experience in growth/marketing, or do you know someone who might be interested in joining an early-stage startup like FlexEat? 🚀

  3. 1

I like that you’re focusing on retention and finding a repeatable acquisition channel early. Have you already tested any specific channels with your first users, and which one has shown the strongest signal so far?

    1. 1

Thanks! That's exactly what I'm trying to optimize right now.

I'm still in the early stage. So far I've mainly been validating through direct outreach to creators and posting organic content, while refining the product based on feedback. I haven't found a repeatable acquisition channel yet—that's the main goal I'm working toward.

I'm looking for the first channel that consistently brings engaged users before trying to scale it. Out of curiosity, have you worked on growth for early-stage startups before?

  4. 1

The fact that you’re looking for a growth co-founder before having a repeatable acquisition channel is interesting. Curious what you’ve learned from the first users so far.

    1. 1

That's a great question. Since FlexEat is still early, the biggest thing I've learned is that people don't necessarily want another strict diet tracker — they want a way to stay consistent while still having flexibility in real life.

The feedback has reinforced the idea that the problem isn't only knowing what to eat, but having support when plans change, eating out, or when motivation drops.

I'm currently focused on validating the strongest user segment and finding the acquisition channels that bring people who truly have this pain.

I'd also love to hear your perspective — have you worked with growth or early-stage startups before?

      1. 1

Yes, I’ve worked around early-stage startups and growth questions. Happy to share a bit more — what’s the best email to reach you at?

        1. 1
