I'm Raja, a software developer running a dev agency. I'm currently trying to niche down in fintech based services. I can build the tech, but the problem is trying to understand the problems and workflows in fintech especially operations heavy fintech niches like CFO firms and accounting firms where document/data processing and its associated workflow is very complex to understand before bulding the tech. so I want somebody from that background to help me with that. someone with experience from fintech niches can contact me , we can see what we can do in that space.

Hi Raja,
I work with mapping and modeling complex operational workflows (especially accounting/finance routines) and turning them into implementable product specs — without guesswork and with full traceability and control.
I can help you:
break down the real end-to-end flow (intake → triage → validations → exceptions → approvals → reconciliations → output);
make rules, variables, and edge cases explicit (what breaks the flow and how it’s resolved);
define compliance requirements (audit trail, segregation of duties, evidentiary records, logs, versioning);
produce delivery artifacts for your team (BPMN/flow diagrams, RACI matrix, data dictionary, user stories + acceptance criteria, initial backlog).
If it makes sense, tell me: (1) the exact sub-niche (CFO office, accounting BPO, AP/AR, reconciliation, close, tax, etc.), (2) the primary “object” (invoices, bank statements, bills, receipts, contracts), and (3) where the pain is biggest today (time, errors, rework, risk). From there, we can define a scope and a short discovery plan.
If you’d like, I can send a proposal for a Discovery Sprint (1–2 weeks) focused on mapping the workflow, edge cases, and minimum requirements for a solid MVP.

I'm building in the fintech/personal finance space - currently focused on budgeting and net worth tracking.
Happy to chat and share what I've learned about that market, especially the bilingual SEO challenges.
DM me if you're looking for someone already in the space.
Smart move niching into fintech especially operations-heavy areas like CFO and accounting firms. You’re right, the workflows are complex, and building without deep problem clarity can get expensive fast.
One angle that might help before locking in a partner is leveraging Reddit for problem discovery and validation. There are active communities where CFOs, accountants, and fintech operators openly discuss workflow bottlenecks, compliance headaches, document processing struggles, and tool limitations
When approached strategically (not promotional), Reddit can help you:
• Understand real operational pain points
• Validate feature ideas before building
• Identify niche subsegments within fintech
• Start building authority in the space early
I specialize in Reddit-based research and growth positioning for technical founders entering new niches. If you're open to it, I’d be interested in exploring how we could combine workflow discovery + strategic community positioning to help you break into fintech the right way
Happy to connect and discuss further
So question im really new but do people look for founders that have raised capital or exited before and how do you find them?
Looking for a fintech expert partner to drive innovation, streamline payments, enhance security, and accelerate financial growth with smart technology solutions.
Hi Raja, this is interesting — fintech operations (especially CFO and accounting workflows) definitely require deep process understanding before building the tech.
I’m a full-stack developer running a software studio, and I’ve worked on data-heavy systems with authentication, structured workflows, and automation features. While I focus on building the tech side, I’m very comfortable translating complex business processes into scalable software.
If you’re open, I’d love to connect and explore how we can collaborate — especially around workflow mapping, system architecture, and building fintech-focused solutions together.
Hi Divyesh, happy to get connected, lets connect on linkedin so its easier for communication. My linkedin : https://www.linkedin.com/in/raja-prasath-624069117/
Hey Raja
I come from the trading side of fintech not accounting, but I've built some complex workflow systems for financial operations. Trade copying infrastructure, broker compliance handling, multi account management with different rule sets per client. Lots of moving parts and edge cases.
Not sure if that overlaps with what you're chasing but happy to chat if you think there's something there. What kind of fintech projects has your agency done so far?
Hey Bradshaw, happy to get connected. I've worked on accounting workflow automations for cfo firms and now exploring workflow automations in operations heavy niches like HR, Payroll, Logistics, etc. lets connect on linkedin so its easier for communication. Good niche focus.
One way to attract stronger partners is to narrow this even more in your post: pick one exact workflow you want to solve first (for example, monthly close package prep or invoice exception handling) and name one target customer profile.
That usually gets better replies than a broad fintech ask.
Thank you for your advice, I'll follow that
