A casual tweet from Marc Lou just turned into a 100-person indie hacker meetup in Paris
Indie hackers across Europe joined the event, including a founder who made $3.4M in 2024 with zero marketing.
What started as a casual “Hey, let’s meet up” tweet turned into a full-on indie hacker hangout at Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris on January 5th 2025.
The original hope was that 10 or so people might show up. Nope. Try 100+! Some of them even hopped on planes to be there.
The vibe? People swapping their indie hacking stories and hacks, taking selfies, and just soaking in the energy of people who probably "get you" more than your closest friends (at least when it comes to career path).

This is the kind of thing that makes you realize how starved people are for IRL founder energy. Slack groups are fine, Twitter’s fine, but standing in a park talking shop hits different. Kinda mad I wasn’t in Paris for this.
