I built a tool to recommend your favorite books, podcasts, tv shows, music, products & more
Hello everybody! I’m Armando, software engineer & solo-founder. I created Reclist, a tool to recommend your favorite books, podcasts, tv shows, music, products & more.
I created Reclist after I saw thousands of times on Twitter, people asking for recommendations: what to read, to watch, to use, etc. so... I did it.
It’s very simple to use: create your account (like: reclist.me/jbrad), add the recommendations links and select the categories (books, podcasts, etc) and share in your social media profile, that's it!
I launched the first very basic version a couple of months ago: only add recommendations (no edit), login only with Twitter, no notes, etc.
After some feedback that I received, I updated a couple of things:
- Login with email & Google
- Add, edit & delete recommendations
- Option to add a note to every recommendation
- UI improvements
It’s completely free. I don’t monetize (I have some ideas how to do it, but I'm still not convinced). It’s my side project.
