How do you write your "Terms of Service" and "Privacy Policy"?
- Do you get legal consultation?
- Do you use generator tools? Which one do you recommend?
- Do you write them yourself?
- Do you copy / paste from your role models?
I'd be very happy to hear your feedback because I am facing this problem now 😃
For terms & conditions I asked my lawyer (who is specialized on B2B and startups, which helps a lot) and for privacy policy and GDPR related things I utilized my privacy-focussed lawyers at heydata.eu.
Did it cost money? Oh yes. Hundreds of €€€.
But do I sleep well? Oh yes, and a lot better since I know that I have solid solution in place.
I used a generator tool, and then amended it in a few places. Can't remember which one I used.
