Building a productivity app that rewards with tools, not badges
After reading too many productivity books, I realized the key to success is just consistent action.
My first product Focus2.day - a gamified focus timer - is about on consistent action with gamification. After each session you unlock small tools (task list, stats etc.).
Most productivity apps feel like work. By making the app itself the reward, it helps me stick to my actions. I reward with actual tools to build the perfect customized focus timer instead of the meaningless points and badges in most gamified apps.
