Seeking Technical Co-Founder/Partner for B2C Mobile Project

I am working on a B2C mobile app concept focused on solving a challenge that affecs many people, myself included. Already explored existing options, but I haven't found one that truly works.

Now I am turning that long-standing need into an opportunity to create something valuable. Through research and conversation with people in the space, I have a clear direction on core features and positioning.

I am looking for a technical co-founder and partner to foster and grow this project together. Someone experienced in building and launching mobile products who wants to shape and grow this together from an early stage.

If this resonates with you, happy to connect.

"Great to see more Indie Hackers moving into the B2C mobile space! It’s a crowded market, but 'truly working' solutions are rare.

What's the biggest technical hurdle you're anticipating for the MVP?

We could have a call or Google meet this week, to understand this all deeply if you're open to it."??

    Hello Sam,

At Code Colonies, we collaborate with founders through our The Startup Engine Model, acting as a co-founder-level tech partner to build products from scratch and scale them. With our experience in mobile product development and early-stage scaling, this looks like a great fit happy to connect and explore further.

I'd love to learn more about it.

Thank you for reaching out. Are you currently building mobile products? Happy to share more over DM.

I am currently working on a b2b product and it's not a mobile app. Can you give me the basics of how you'd want me to be involved as a technical coFounder?

        1. 1

I am looking for someone to take ownership of the technical side and build this together from MVP through growth and future iterations. Not Just execution, but real partnership in shaping the product and direction.

    Hi Sam.
How can we have a short call to discuss your app?

    Hi Sam_J,

Thanks for sharing your B2C mobile app concept, the group gifting space looks promising. Based on the post, it reads like you're looking for full-time engineers. If you're open to it, we can propose how Ergosphere Solutions would work with you as an agency with fractional CTO support to develop the MVP professionally and efficiently while you retain full ownership.

Happy to outline our approach if that aligns.

Hey Sam, I'm a technical founder, this sounds interesting! I'm happy to connect.

Hi Steve, thanks for reaching out , glad the idea sounds interesting.

I don’t seem to have the option to DM here. What would be the best way for us to connect privately to discuss further?

Interesting. Problems that come from personal pain points often lead to the most meaningful products.
I’m an iOS developer with ~9 years of experience building and launching mobile apps, and I enjoy working on early-stage products where we can experiment, validate ideas, and shape the product from the ground up.
Would love to hear more about the problem you're tackling and the direction you're taking. Happy to connect.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply — your background sounds very relevant, especially with mobile apps and early-stage products.

I’d be happy to share more about the problem and direction I’m exploring. I don’t seem to have the option to DM here — what would be the best way for us to connect privately?

Saw your post. I'm a product person and solo dev who builds mobile apps fast using AI-assisted development. I've shipped consumer mobile products before and know how to get from zero to something users actually engage with. If you're open to working with someone on a contract basis first (rather than jumping straight to equity), I'd love to hear what you're building.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your background — interesting to hear about your experience building consumer apps.

I’m primarily exploring a technical co-founder partnership, but I’d still be happy to talk and exchange ideas. I don’t seem to have the option to DM here — what’s the best way for us to connect privately?

I would be glad to explore the opportunity to work with you. Could you please share your contact number? Alternatively, we can connect via email at sandra.s@armiasystems (dot) net. I look forward to discussing this further.

      Hi Jenny,
Thanks for the message. I am primarily looking for a technical co-founder who wants to build and grow the product long term but I am also open to know how your team works with early-stage founders. Could you briefly share how your "technical co-foubder" model works for startups?

I’d love to give it a try if you haven’t already hired someone.
I run a solo iOS app agency

    Hi Sam,

This really resonates — the best products usually come from solving a problem we’ve personally experienced. It’s great that you’ve already done the research and validated the direction. That’s a strong starting point.

I work closely on early-stage ideas to launch and grow. Beyond just development, we are refining the product vision, structuring the MVP, shaping the user experience, and preparing it for real market traction.

We can also support on the marketing and positioning side helping define the brand, go-to-market strategy, and user acquisition so the product doesn’t just get built, but actually grows.Would love to connect and hear more about your idea to explore how we can build and scale this together.Drop your email we will send our previous work cases and have a meeting with you

      Berlin40,
Thanks for reaching out.Are you currently working as a mobile developer or building mobile products? I am specifically looking for someone with experience building consumer mobile apps.

  14. 1

    Hi,Sam

Your post really resonates with me. Turning a personal challenge into a meaningful B2C product is often where the strongest ideas come from.

I’m a Mobile App Developer with 8+ years of experience building and launching Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) applications — including B2C platforms, IoT-connected apps, service marketplaces, and scalable consumer products. I’ve worked from early-stage concept and MVP through to production launch and scaling.

I’m interested in contributing not just technically, but also in shaping product direction, architecture, and long-term growth.

I’d love to learn more about:
    • The specific problem you’re solving
    • Your defined core features
    • Your target audience
    • The current stage of the product

Let’s connect and explore this further.

    You can reach me at:
    WhatsApp: +91 88668 82882

    Looking forward to the conversation

Thanks for the detailed message. I appreciate the structured questions.

At a high level, it’s a consumer-facing product in the social/connection space, focused on solving a recurring real-world coordination challenge that affects a wide range of people.

The idea comes from long-term personal experience and conversations with potential users.

For MVP, the focus would be:
      • Clear onboarding
      • The core interaction mechanism
      • Basic trust and safety elements
      • A simple engagement loop
The target audience is broad consumer users within a defined context, which I’m happy to discuss in more detail privately.

Current stage: validated concept, outlined feature scope, lots of research and gathering information, no technical build started yet.

My goal is to build something scalable from the start with the right technical foundation. I’m looking for a co-founder who wants to shape the product and long-term direction, not just execute development.

If this aligns with how you see a partnership, happy to explore further.
